Every year we seem to reach a point when we need to remind coaches and spectators not to abuse or dissent the referees. 

Questioning a referee's calls is considered dissent.

Telling the the referee they made a "bad call" is considered abuse.

Referee dissent and abuse will no longer be tolerated.

The following link will take you to a page where you can read the instructions given to the referees for handling abuse and dissent. The page also lists the minimum disciplinary sanctions coaches and/or spectators may receive as a result of referee dissent and abuse.

For more details, please refer to the Regional Rules and Regulations Section 1.9 for more information regarding proper sideline behavior, technical area definitions, and the referee's authority, powers, and duties for conducting a match.
