Starting with Fall 2013, all Core Program divisions for U6 through U14 follow the AYSO National recommended format. AYSO recommends - and the Region agrees - the Core Program be the same whether you are playing in Southern California or anywhere else AYSO is offered in the US and Internationally. Consequently, the Region had a transition year where certain divisions - Under-5 and Under-7 in particular - started operating under the recommended guidelines. The transition is complete starting with the Fall 2013 season.
